circle of life

{ Tank - Mossman, Shorts - Target, Sandals - Windsor Smith, Toe-rings as top-rings - Syd Uni Markets, Necklace - Lovisa, Bag - Sister's purchase from Korea }

This silky goodness of a tank was super cheap and many sizes up, so I'm going to wear it as a dress. The pit holes look pretty darn ridiculously big if I lift my arms up, but 'Am I bovered?' No, not really. Plus it was heat-wave hot today so the extra leeway was perfect. Tucked into these cheap as chips (probably $10) Target shorts with polka dots, hells yes...off to MCA we skedaddled. Sculptures that play with your perception - I became fixated with the circles.

Anish Kapoor - "His ability to transform material into astonishing and often perplexing works of art which raise philosophical questions about the world and our position within in, has led to comparisons with alchemy, the ancient magical power to transform an ordinary substance into something of great value...Pigment, voids, mirror, concrete, marble, sandstone and steel - the material of sculpture is formed into artworks that often appear to have no boundaries...Each body of work reveals the artist's key preoccupation with the transformative power of material and how works of art can convey and elicit meaning from the viewer."
